• Artwork files and order specifications
• Account credentials (username, encrypted password via WordPress)

We use your personal information solely for the following purposes:

• Processing and fulfilling your orders

• Maintaining your account and order history

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our hosting partners. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Artwork File Storage

When you upload artwork files during the ordering process, those files are stored using Vercel Blob, a cloud file storage service provided by Vercel Inc. Uploaded files are assigned a unique, randomly generated URL that is not publicly listed or indexed by search engines. However, please be aware that:

• Artwork files are stored with access-by-link: anyone who obtains the exact URL can download the file. The URL is unguessable but is not password-protected.
• The URL is shared only with Fast Labels staff for order fulfilment purposes and is recorded in your order record.
• If your artwork contains confidential or proprietary information, please contact us at sales@fastlabels.co.za to discuss alternative secure submission methods.
• Artwork files are retained for the duration of your order and deleted in accordance with our data retention schedule (see Section 8).

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our business:

• Vercel — website hosting, serverless functions, and file storage (Vercel Blob) for artwork uploads
• Sentry — error monitoring (no personal data transmitted)
• WordPress/WooCommerce — backend order and user management
• Resend — transactional email delivery for order confirmations and contact form submissions

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and shopping cart. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

7. Your Rights (POPIA)

Under South African law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to the processing of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law (typically 5 years for tax and accounting purposes). After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
